About PureWaterFinder
PureWaterFinder is a US directory of water refill stations — from reverse-osmosis kiosks in grocery stores to natural springs off a two-lane road. We built it because finding a real refill station, and knowing what kind of water actually comes out of it, is harder than it should be.
Why this exists
Search "water refill near me" and you get a map pack of grocery stores, a handful of paid ads, and directories that haven't been updated in years. Nothing tells you whether the kiosk is filtered, reverse osmosis, or alkaline. Nothing tells you if the spring off the highway is on private land or safe to reach. PureWaterFinder is the directory we wanted and couldn't find.
What we cover
- Filtered and RO kiosks — Watermill Express, FreshPure, Primo, Glacier, and grocery-embedded refill stations.
- Natural springs — publicly accessible springs with location, access notes, and community-verified refill status.
- 5-gallon jug refills, alkaline, deionized, and specialty water where those details are known.
How our data works
Listings come from public sources, kiosk operators' own location data, and community submissions. We do not copy prose from other directories, do not bulk-generate station descriptions, and do not list private springs. When we don't know something — a price, a filter type, current hours — we say so rather than guess. Every confirmation you leave ("I refilled here") makes the directory more accurate for the next person.
What we're not
We are not a water-quality authority, a lab, or a certification body. We publish location and operator-provided information about refill stations. We do not test the water and we do not recommend that you drink from any specific source without your own judgment. See our Terms for the full disclaimer.
Who we are
Anca Bradley — Co-Founder
Anca leads editorial at PureWaterFinder. Her byline appears on every long-form guide we publish. She writes about filtration methods, spring safety, and how to read what's actually coming out of a refill station, drawing on years of practical, hands-on research into drinking-water sources across the western US. She lives in Colorado and refills at every spring she can find a legitimate reason to visit.
Ryan Bradley — Co-Founder
Ryan builds and operates the directory. He handles the product, engineering, and the working relationships with kiosk operators and business owners. He's based in Castle Rock, Colorado.
